This Nigerian Shea Butter is a raw, ethically sourced, top quality, African beauty must have. Used for centuries by women to protect and regenerate the skin, its potency lies in its naturally high concentration of vitamins A and E.

A multi-purpose moisturiser for all skin types, it can be used on dry areas, stretch marks, scars, as a nappy balm or as a base for making your own natural cosmetics.

LIHA Shea Butter comes in two varieties, Gold & Ivory, from two different regions. This Gold Shea is from Nigeria, has a smoky, earthy smell, remnant from the roasting process of the Shea fruit, and is waxy in texture. It can be seamlessly smoothed into larger areas of the body as well as being a quintessential weapon against dry, flaky and itchy scalps.

Traditionally used as a 'cure all' balm with women in Africa using it on everything from stretch marks and scars to babies bums. An excellent natural alternative.
Rich tree-nut oils in shea butter can soak into your skin, creating a smooth and soft barrier that seals in moisture.

How To Use: All you need is a small amount. Let it melt between your hands and apply everywhere.

Face: Shea butter is rich so use it on dry patches on your face or as a face mask. Use to treat chapped lips and an aftersun treatment.

Body: All over body butter. Great for really dry areas, especially hands, feet and elbows. Has been known to help skin conditions like eczema.

Baby: Made from one natural vegan ingredient so it's great for babies and kids.

Sensitivities: Psoriasis sufferers are advised to patch test before use as Shea butter encourages the regeneration of skin cells. People with psoriasis have an increased production of skin cells resulting in the build-up which is what is associated with psoriasis.

Shea butter contains natural latex, although reactions to Shea butter are quite rare please be aware of possible allergic reaction.

When applied topically, Shea butter can increase moisture retention by acting as a protective layer over your skin and preventing water loss on the first layer, as well as penetrating to enrich the other layers.’

Thus Shea butter is known to relieve the itchy, dryness and inflamed skin associated with eczema.

Ingredients: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)
